Pizza, Pasta, and Progress Night a Huge Success!
Our school was buzzing with energy and delicious aromas last week as we hosted our "Pizza, Pasta, and Progress" family event! It was an unforgettable evening that successfully blended essential parent-teacher conferences, a wonderful community dinner, and a valuable opportunity for family feedback. Over the course of the evening, parents and guardians met with their children’s teachers to discuss progress, set goals, and strengthen the crucial home-to-school partnership that is key to every child’s success.
The night’s success was fueled in part by a fantastic dinner, generously sponsored by our dedicated PTA and local favorite, Tomasino’s Pizza. Families gathered to share smiles, stories, and plates of delicious food, reinforcing the strong sense of community we value at our school.
A major focus of the night was gathering input from our families on how we can make our school the best it can be. Families shared their honest thoughts on what makes them feel welcome, what works best for attending school events, and what makes them proud of their children. We were thrilled to hear such positive feedback about our staff, including comments like: "Knowing that a teacher or staff member is willing to help with anything is the best," and "The positive attitude of the staff and how helpful everyone is makes me feel welcome."
Other parents specifically praised our communication, noting that they appreciate "The way my child’s teacher keeps me updated with the curriculum and how my child is doing in school." It’s clear that our school staff’s dedication and helpfulness are making a real, positive difference in creating a welcoming environment.
Thank you to everyone who attended, shared your feedback, and helped make "Pizza, Pasta, and Progress" a truly meaningful event. We look forward to seeing you at our next family engagement opportunity!
